Ok, an updated post, take two!

We are still here and have new photos.  The last couple of months have been the roughest of my life.  My brother passed away two weeks ago after a three year battle with cancer. He was only 37 and left behind an amazing wife and daughter.  Our family is greiving terribly and could use your prayers.

The girls are doing wonderfully and below you will find pictures of Halloween fun, gymnastics wins and just fun in our home.

Sad endings and new beginings

We did lose one family member and are still praying for a miracle for the other.  Your prayers and words of encouragement have meant the world to us.  It is no matter where friends live, love knows no boundaries.  Thank you to you all.

Belle started the 2nd grade this year!  Where has the time gone???  Last I knew she was a toddler telling me "NO"!  Now she is a 7 year old telling me NO!  I would not have it any other way.

And we got a new cat Mike Wozouski, yes, named after the monster from Monters, inc....

He is a family favorite already.  It was a great summer and we are all looking forward to fall weather!

Summer Daze and Heartaches

We are having a fun summer visitng places around town and playing lots of fun games. We recently went to the aquarium and Hannah loved all the fish while Belle loved the sharks!

Hannah and Belle are growing so fast and are so beautiful. I marvel everyday at how blessed I am to be their mom. Hannah is learing lots of new words and talks more and more each day. She is so busy with all her toys and loves playing with her big sister. Belle is such a great big sister and loves to cuddle and wrestle with Hannah. They always bring a simle to my face. We are in the midst of two very difficult family illnesses and emotional ups and downs are a daily occurance. Mostly in mom. The girls always know how to bring a smile to my face. Your prayers would be such a blessing to us during this time.

Family Vacations and summer activities

Here are some cute pictures of our trip to a cabin in the mountains.  No phone and no tv!  It was wonderful and realaxing.  The girls became children of the dirt on a daily basis and we just sat and read on the large deck.  I want to go back!

Sunglasses and cuddles

Hannah found a pair of sunglasses and refused to take them off all day. She looked adorable in them!  We still put them on her when we go out and she loves them!  I do need to find a smaller pair thought because they  slide down her tiny nose all the time but she makes them work!  Too cute!

Belle is a great big sister and Hannah just adores her!  I finally caught a picture of them cuddling before Hannah jumped off.  Belle has such a huge heart and loves very deeply.

We also celebrated the last day of school!

I never knew.....

......how much a heart could love.  I love these two girls so much and they are my life!  Isabelle turned 7 this weekend and we had a fun-filled three day celebration.  Hannah is adorable in everything she does!  I love her little sounds, the way she runs, even her little fits when I tell her no. I am always sad to put her to bed because I miss her so much!  I had no idea I would be blessed with two of the most beautiful girls in the world!   My heart aches because I love them so much. Thank you God for your blessings everyday.

This first picture is a vist from the Beaver family whom we traveled with to China!  The girls are just a couple of days apart and are adorable!

We are still here and it has been way too long since I have updated this site!  We have been busy with wonderful family visits and school activities.  Hannah is busy cutting molars and ruling the roost!  Everyday is such a blessing and she is in wonderful health.  I am often amazed at how blessed we are and how God fufilled His promised through a two year wait.  She has started a new behavior where I can not pay any attention to anything but her. If I am trying to talk to some one in the living room she will climb up in my lap and get into my face and force me to look at her only.  Or if Daddy is hugging/kissing me she will come and force her way in between us.  It is cute but I think I need to  regulate it a bit too.

We are getting ready to celebrate Belle's 7th birthday!!!!!!  Who told her she could turn 7!!!!!  It seems like just yesterday she was 3.  My mom was right (as she always is!)  and time does fly too fast.  She is such a beautiful girl and full of spunk and talent.  Everyday with her is an adventure and I always learn somthing new from her.

The days are long but the years are short.....

I was reminded today that tomorrow is the 4 month anniversary since we arrived home with our sweet bundle of joy.  I find that I still watch every show on China that I can find and that I look at the pictures at least weekly.  I loved being there and miss the culture very much. 

Nothing much new since the last post.  The girls are great and all is well.  I will get some new pictures up soon.  Jake brought home a cartoon that was right-on to the days lately; it said "the days are long but the years are short."  Very appropriate!
